Name the Mascot Contest Results:
We would like to thank everyone for the huge response to the name the mascot contest. There were many excellent suggestions but "Scoop" edged out the pack! The contest winner was contacted and they requested that the prize be given to the one of other contestants as a honourable mention prize. We would like to congratulate Brian and Evan Dumbleton from Mimico Minor Lacrosse Club for their suggestions. Both individuals will receive a Lacrosse Day in Canada prize pack!

Aurora Masters Lacrosse is running their 5th annual charity marathon lacrosse game called DOVE 2012 which will raise funds for the Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness and Spirit of the Stick.

Huntsville & District Minor Lacrosse Association is holding their first annual Play for Pink marathon lacrosse game which will raise funds for the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation.
